Community group Newport Wastesavers operate a 'green box' aluminium kerbside collection scheme in the city for alucans and foil. Contact 01633 216856/281 for further details.

Organised by the Pontypridd & Rhondda NHS Trust, the Help Children with Special Needs campaign generates money to provide much need equipment from recycling aluminium cans and foil deposited in special banks in and around Rhondda and Pontypridd.
