Alupro offers advice and information to anyone wanting to collect aluminium packaging, or expand their activity. Our membership comprises many of the UK's leading reprocessors, and we have excellent links with the waste management industry, so can help and advise on any aspect of setting up or running a collection scheme.
Alupro has developed a comprehensive suite of materials to assist local authorities wanting to improve participation and capture rates for valuable aluminium packaging. Metalmatters and Every Can Counts were both cited as examples of good practice in the 2011 government Waste Policy Review.
A wide range of PR resources is available, including an online library of free advert and press release templates, images, and supporting material for roadshows. View our case studies and communications materials.
Metalmatters is a newer programme which promotes the recyclablility of all metal packaging to householders.
Every Can Counts provides resources to support organisations who want to set up and promote recycling of drinks cans used outside the home. This includes bespoke containers, eye-catching communications materials and PR support. Every Can Counts can be used to support recycling services in commercial premises, in offices and schools, and even on the beach!
