The Aluminium Packaging Recycling Organisation (Alupro) is a not-for-profit company which represents the leading aluminium packaging producers and reprocessors in the UK. Alupro’s role is to ensure that packaging waste recycling targets are met through working with local authorities and other partners, and through public education. Alupro is also the body responsible for working with Government on policy issues. Producer members Producer members of Alupro are the leading raw material suppliers and converters of aluminium packaging to the UK market.
The Alupro reprocessor group already represents over 74% of the packaging tonnage recycled by accredited reprocessors. Amembers fees contribute to shared strategic objectives and individual companies often support specific Alupro project
